Trainer’s Club is pleased to present April’s featured artist STEVE HAMMOND. His boldly colorful athletes and tropical landscapes will grace our walls through the month. Any questions about pricing can be answered at the front desk.

About the artist: Steve was born and raised in Colorado where he received his Associates Degree in Advertising & Design from the Art Institute of Colorado. While he makes a living as a Creative Director for his own advertising business, he is also an artist by night, and every chance he gets he is working on a variety of pieces.

Steve is never outside without his camera. It is the tool he uses to inspire his paintings. Whether it is a sunset on the ocean or an athlete on the field, he shoots his images with a painting in mind. His graphic background gives his work a bold approach.

A Note from the Artist:
I have always enjoyed drawing because at the heart of my art is an extension of life. I love design and how it helps communicate messages in a visual form. I produce clean, simple advertising that makes a bold statement and a memorable one. In a nutshell this is how I approach my art. I try to create work that gets your attention and in a simple way helps you relate to the subject no matter what it is.

I am also a drummer, and just like art, you have to practice and train to be good at it. I am always learning and trying to do work that makes me smile. I hope my work has the same effect on the viewer.
