Thursday March 5 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm in the Trainer’s Club Lobby. Free and open to the public.

Please join artist Jean Gale and enjoy wine and nibbles while you browse her stunning watercolor collection. The reception will include a few additional pieces not in the show. The exhibit will remain at Trainer’s Club throughout the month of March.

A “late bloomer” in the art world, Jean was captured by the lure of watercolor in a one-day class in Bend, Oregon. She has continued to seek refining ways to project imagery through workshops and art-related travel. Her style is realistic, and color, her favorite vehicle. Capturing the feeling of light and emphasizing contrast is what makes her paintings come alive.

A resident of Lake Oswego, Jean is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon and the Northwest Art Alliance. Her work is in private and corporate collections through out the USA and includes many personal commissions. Her work may be viewed at the Rental Sales Gallery of the Portland Art Museum, Yamhill Gallery & Gifts in Newberg or at her studio.
