Her style is light and bright and you can feel the Southwest sun on your shoulders as you gaze at an Arizona stairwell. Jean exhibits her work throughout Trainer’s Club during the month of March, and the public is welcome to browse. Find price information and artist contact info at the front desk.

A “late bloomer” in the art world, Jean was captured by the lure of watercolor in a one-day class in Bend, Oregon. She has continued to seek refining ways to project imagery through workshops and art-related travel. Her style is realistic, and color, her favorite vehicle. Capturing the feeling of light and emphasizing contrast is what makes her paintings come alive.

A resident of Lake Oswego, Jean is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon and the Northwest Art Alliance. Her work is in private and corporate collections through out the USA and includes many personal commissions. Her work may be viewed at the Rental Sales Gallery of the Portland Art Museum, Yamhill Gallery & Gifts in Newberg or at her studio.
