Happy New Year!! It’s that time of the year when fitness resolutions are made and Trainer’s Club is here to help you keep them. As your fitness and wellness center, we want you to have everything you need at your disposal to make sure you can’t bail out on your New Year’s goals. We have personal training, massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, pilates, nutrition, and of course lots of group classes.
This is the season of NO EXCUSES!!
We have exciting new classes that are rolling out next week. You requested on the surveys more evening and early morning classes and that is what we have done. All new classes are taught by professional Personal Trainers.
Here is the list of our new classes:
STEP It Up! Monday and Wednesday at 5:30PM, taught by Laura Glaze. STEP It Up! is a step-based fitness class designed to train the many different elements of fitness. “STEP It Up!” utilizes the STEP to perform athletic movements designed to train all three of the body’s energy systems (both anaerobic and aerobic). This class will incorporate plyometrics, bodyweight strength/endurance training and core work to maximize desired results.
KettleBell Monday at 5:30AM and Tuesda at 5:30 PM, taught Nancy Bebek, Thursday at 5:30PM, taught by Mick Glaze. Kettlebell is a group fitness class where participants will learn to use a classic, but just recently re-popularized training tool to enhance many of the different aspects of one’s overall fitness. Through the use of kettlebells, class members will develop greater stamina, improved core strength, as well as enhanced power and muscular endurance
MetCon (Metabolic Conditioning) Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 PM, taught by James Levins. Metcon is all about intensity and endurance. Intensity is about power over time. Endurance is performing an activity repeatedly in correct form. Areas of focus: maintaining a high Heart rate, simultaneous use of many muscle groups, continuous movement, short to medium time frames for intervals (5 to 30 min). This class is designed to engage all the major metabolic pathways.
Rock That Body Tuesday at 5:30AM and Sunday at 10:00AM, taught by Tate Ford. Kick start your day with upbeat music and leave with a full body workout! Dynamic stretching will get your Body in the mood, then you will be sweating in no time. This class will keep your heart rate up and challenge you with core and weight exercises. After pushing you to the limit we will slow it down with a full body stretch, leaving feeling refreshed and ready to attack your day.
Aong with our existing classes we have almost 50 classes every week, (48 to be exact!) There is something for everyone, from our popular Tai Chi taught by the Grand Master Dave Barrett to the famous Boot Camps taught by Suck It Up Fitness expert, David Clapp. We have yoga, pilates, spin, body sculpt, power hour, Zumba! and more yoga!
Unlike other clubs, our classes are included with your membership and are not over-crowded. We provide discounted guest rates when members bring in a visitor. Please bring in your friends, we have a little over 100 memberships available before we are full and have to use our wait list. Based on current trends, we should be full before summer starts.
