FIVE-WEEK INNER WELLNESS CLASS ON MEDITATION AND TECHNIQUES FOR STRESS REDUCTION.
This class will focus on teaching you such techniques as meditation, guided imagery, breathing sequences, progressive relaxation, tai chi, yoga and more. It takes only one practice, five minutes a day, to make a measurable impact toward inner wellness.
Every Friday afternoon in May 4:30-6:00pm in the Trainer’s Club Fitness Studio. Member price $100 for whole series; $125 for non-members. Single drop-in class also available for $25 for both members and non-members.
About the instructor: Terry Jordan, one of our massage therapists here at Trainer’s Club, has been practicing meditation for the past 25 years and loves teaching others about the benefits of bringing this peaceful practice into one’s life. Terry’s education background in nursing, health education, massage therapy and yoga teacher training as well as her own life experiences has thoroughly prepared her to teach meditation and stress management techniques.
Terry has designed and presented programs for communities and businesses throughout the country. In addition numerous places here in Oregon, she has presented workshops at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, New England Telephone Company in various locations in the northeast, the Pentagon in Washington, DC; Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, MD, National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD, and at numerous sites in Penticton, British Columbia and San Diego, CA.
