With the holidays in the rear view mirror and as we look ahead to 2013 it’s natural to set those New Year’s resolutions along with some goals for the coming year. Trainer’s Club is offering an exciting 8 week weight loss challenge which will kick off next week and take us through to spring break. You can look good, feel great, and have a goal during these next few gray months.
The Trainer’s Club event, called Raise n’ Race, has a two-fold objective. First, we would like our community and members to shed the holiday pounds, feel better and obtain all the benefits of weight reduction.
Secondly, but equally as important, we are going to donate our lost pounds in pounds of food for the Oregon Food Bank (pound lost = pound donated).
You may sign-up by yourself, with friends, family, members and non-members. Challenge other in your group class, or just lose a few pounds individually before spring break. As a race participant you’ll receive a t-shirt and be invited to enjoy the Raise n’ Race finish line party where you can celebrate your success with fun, food and prizes.
We aren’t going to let you give up on your goal so along the way there will be additional programs offered by many of our outstanding business partners keeping you accountable and fit. So get ready for 8 weeks of club weight loss fun! If weight loss isn’t a goal, you could join team sabotage and focus on gaining muscle.
Sign-up today and get an early start. Entry deadline is January 28th and sign-up sheets are available at the front desk.
I’d love for Trainer’s Club to donate a 1000 pounds of food ~ 500 members lose 2 pounds and we are there! We look forward to having many of you take part in this inaugural event which we hope to host annually for years to come.
Join us tonight for the Third Thursday seminar “Truth about Weight Loss”.
