Cheryl has a passion for the healing benefits of massage. She specializes in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (Ashi), a sole-ful new twist on the ancient healing art of Ashiatsu massage from Asia. Cheryl has studied extensively in this barefoot massage modality with Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy founder Ruthie Hardee at her institute in Colorado. This deep tissue, luxurious massage modality is a great fit for the sports-minded client at Trainer’s Club.
Cheryl also practices other more traditional massage modalities including Swedish massage, myofascial release, deep tissue, and warmed stone sculpting therapy. She graduated from Oregon School of Massage in 2004. Cheryl has great success in reducing and eliminating chronic and acute muscular pain, while restoring the body back to its natural balanced state of physical well-being. Cheryl enjoys integrating other energy-balancing therapies such as reiki, foot reflexology, and aromatherapy. She is able to provide a deeply relaxing and customized therapeutic treatment to create an optimal healing environment. Clients feel renewed, refreshed and more able to actively engage in their lives.
Cheryl earned her BA in Communications from Lewis & Clark College. She enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, travel, and spending time from garden to kitchen creating healthy culinary treats.
